Solved: Does anyone in the community know how to download . . .  
The songs on Spotify can only be played within the app itself. Even when you download some for offline listening, all this does is save some cache allowing the app to play these without an internet connection. Its not possible to export these as MP3s or similar files and play them on other devices or transfer them via USB drives and such.   more
